Well, In my opinion the Christian's Women Center Thrift store is a wonderful organization. They aid many people at the shelter EVERY day. The money goes to a good cause and i very seriously dubiety that just because two or iii people aren't shopping there that the store is going to fall autonomously. SNAP INTO REALITY. I have never had a trouble with anybody up in that location. They are doing their jobs. If the price is TOO high then don't shop there. WHY Exercise YOU KEEP GOING In that location IF Yous DISLIKE IT And so MUCH??? My sister lives in Thomaston and drives to griffin all the time on Saturdays just to go to The Christian'due south Women'due south Centre. more than

This austerity store is ridiculously overpriced, poorly staffed, and governed past management that cannot toll trade accordingly and cannot deal with customers courteously. The store was supposed to take been the Christian "vision" of possessor Sue Hulon. I run into no evidence of Christianity in the style this operation is run. Yesterday, I shopped there for the very final time. I purchased several items, paid for them in greenbacks, and left the store. When I got to my auto (just a minute later), I glanced at my receipt and noticed that the cashier had charged me $seven.99 for an particular marked $1.99. I immediately returned to that cashier and asked her to return the $vi.00 overcharge. She said she could not give me back the money she had overcharged me...... her greenbacks register was not "fix that fashion"! She told me I could take a $half-dozen.00 store credit, but no money back - even though she admitted she had overcharged me. Two managers came to the front end, told me the same affair - the registers were not "set up up that way". By that time, several customers were observing this discussion. I told the managers to return my money from their own pockets, then, if the annals drawer would not open up. The shop's error could and so be rectified later. I explained to them that wrongly taking money, and refusing to give information technology back, constitutes theft. Suddenly, lo and behold, the register magically opened and my coin was returned. I am washed with that sham of a store. I should have learned long ago, because every time I was in in that location, they were arguing with customers over pricing. I was in the store today trying to buy an old record player when I heard the commotion between a dispute over the price of a book. When my turn came upward, there was another discussion regarding the record player sticker prices. one said $eight which was fair considering not i knowing if it worked or not. The other toll was $14.95...The cheque out daughter said the price was $xiv.95. I said...the toll was marked $8...she said: That's not our sticker! How am I supposed to know whose sticker it is? Why would you try selling it for $14.95 when information technology would even sell for $8? So, No sale was made..the cashier cared less, & this so called Christian Thrift Store is a JOKE!...Cheers for zilch! more

what is wrong with this shop 11/2/2006

The trade is non marked correctly. When there is more than 1 sticker on an item..the comment is from the staff: "It isn't our sticker" Well, how does anyone so know who's sticker information technology is? We aren't listen readers! If in that location is a dispute over 2 stickers, the higher is 'right' according to the staff. There is no negotiating...It is not Christian oriented. You would never convince anyone of that. The music is nauseating & besides loud. The assist is rude...& practice not know how to handle people. The customers hither.... apparently are also stupid to know anything. THEY (the help) say they are the Managing director. She did non human activity it or expect it.... Managers practise not HANG UP on callers with a trouble. Your 'and then-chosen' manager was rude, & unchristian in her handling of my husband'due south dispute over two stickers on an item he wished to purchase. He did NOT purchase it! Thanks to the 'so-called' Manager. SHe knows nothing almost 'managing a shop, let alone people! IShe hung up on me when I called this afternoon with my complaint....Nosotros accept been going there for 5 years...& have puchased some very big & expensive items. Two church building organs....This shop has gone down in every way....We will never return, Train people to handle & work with the general public. They do not exude Christian clemency! You gear up your own prices & still human activity equally though the price is written in rock...don't think and then! I bought a book with a sticker on the cover. It said 25 cents. She charged me 99 cents for the book! Over again....if the book is 99 cents....why then does it say 25 cents. Go your deed together! And for heavens sake...do not call yourselves Christian! What bible are you reading? more
